Auto Electrician Heavy Machinery

Job description / Role

Key responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in heavy machinery.

Repair or replace faulty electrical components including wiring, switches, and sensors.

Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company policies.

Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve complex electrical problems.

Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in heavy machinery electrical systems.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto electrician in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components in heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
