Auto Technician - Heavy Truck

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Technician specializing in heavy trucks to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is crucial in supporting our logistics and shipping operations, contributing to the overall success and reliability of our services in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in heavy trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate vehicle performance and identify necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair work in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and necessary repairs.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company policies and safety standards.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills and knowledge in heavy truck maintenance.

- Proven experience as an Auto Technician with a focus on heavy trucks.
- Relevant certifications in automotive repair and maintenance, including ASE certification.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle systems, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry-standard diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Salary:
AED 2,800 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
