Job description / Role
• Prepare the drawing on the verbal explanation/sketch provided by the project manager.
• Prepares and revises engineering drawings, shop drawings, details, sections, charts and similar documents as directed.
• Should have good knowledge of drawings backup, systematic storage and follow all standard procedure while preparing the drawings.
• Site Visits to obtain actual dimension/site condition and implement the same on the drawings
• Prepare the LOD’s for retail outlets at Malls and other properties.
• Assist the team and other departments for any clarifications/queries such as area calculation, quantity take off, dimensions, location plans, etc.
• Coordinate with other departments during preparation of drawings.
• Ability to visualize the error/mistake in the drawing/design and notify the same to the project manager.
• Liaise and support the projects, sales, retail, leasing and marketing department as and when required as instructed by the project manager.
Requirements
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Design Draftsman to work in Projects Department. To provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD & SolidWorks in accordance with quality assurance standards and clients project specifications This position requires excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Qualified candidates should also possess strong 2D and 3D design skills in AutoCAD.
• A bachelor's or associate degree in Engineering/CAD or drafting is required.
• Should be well versed in Autocad 2D (preferred 3D and rendering).
• Should have good experience of working in layers, X-ref, work spaces and drawings coordination.
• Should have the ability to prepare detailed shop and as built drawings.
• Should have the ability to work under severe pressure and preform multi tasks as instructed by the project manager.
• Should have excellent knowledge of building and infrastructure construction.
• Should have the ability to propose for any design as per the advise/requirement/comments/ by the project manager.
• Should have the ability to explain, convince and suggest the project manager and others as and when required.
• Should have the ability to delivery the tasks on time without compromising with drawings quality.
• 8-10 of Years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects
