AutoCAD Draftsman

Job description / Role

Join our dynamic geotechnical engineering team in Dubai as an AutoCAD Draftsman. You will play a critical role in producing precise and detailed technical drawings that support innovative engineering projects designed to enhance infrastructure and ground stability solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Create accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, actionable drafts.
- Revise drawings as needed to reflect design changes, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation to facilitate efficient workflow and project tracking.
- Assist in site visits and surveys to gather data and verify drawing details when required.
- Ensure all drafted materials adhere to safety regulations and quality control guidelines.

- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably within geotechnical or civil engineering environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with strong technical drawing skills.
- Solid understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free drawings.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of UAE construction and engineering standards is a plus.
