AutoCAD/TEKLA Draughtsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dynamic Draughtsman to join a team of professionals in our rapidly expanding Design Division.

- The purpose of this Role is to create detailed design drawings for structures antennas and related products primarily using AutoCAD 3D / TEKLA.
- This will require the application of draughting techniques, procedures, criteria, and standards to ensure requirements are effectively translated into production/ operational needs.
- Reporting directly to the Drawing Office manager this candidate will work within a small team and provide a drawing service creating General arrangement drawings, detail drawings, and material lists of steel structures, foundations, mechanical assemblies and some basic electrical requirements.
- He will have the ability to work independently and quickly to predetermined timescales and to follow the company codes of practice.

This position offers the scope for creativity and diversity within the large and varied range of products that the company produces.

Requirements

- The ideal candidate will be educated to Diploma level and have 3 years of structural steel detailing experience using AutoCAD 3D & TEKLA.
- Use of other modeling packages, 3D Max, Photoshop etc.

Would be an advantage:

- Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in structural steel draughting
- CAD training to advanced levels (3D & 2D)
- TEKLA training to advanced levels
- Knowledge in 3D Max, Photoshop (Advantage)
