AV (Audio-Visual) Technician
An AV (Audio-Visual) Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment used in various events, presentations, meetings, and conferences. The main role is to ensure that all audio and visual components are functioning properly and to provide technical support during events.

What you will be doing:
- Equipment Setup: Set up and install audio-visual equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, video screens, and lighting systems according to event requirements. This includes connecting cables, testing equipment, and troubleshooting any issues.
- Operation and Maintenance: Operate audio-visual equipment during events, presentations, or meetings to ensure smooth and uninterrupted sound and visual quality. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to keep it in optimal working condition. This may involve replacing bulbs, cleaning lenses, or updating software.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to presenters, speakers, and event participants. Help with equipment usage, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a positive user experience. Respond promptly to any equipment malfunctions during events and quickly find solutions.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers, presenters, and venue staff to understand the specific audio-visual requirements of each event. Assist with planning and coordinating AV logistics, including equipment needs, setup, and breakdown.
- System Integration: Assist in the integration of audio-visual systems with other technologies, such as video conferencing systems or live streaming platforms. Ensure compatibility and functionality between different equipment and software.
- Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain records of equipment inventory, including purchase, repair, and replacement information. Keep track of equipment usage and provide accurate reports as required. Help manage equipment storage and ensure proper organization.
- Stay Updated with Technology: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in audio-visual technology. Attend training sessions, conferences, or workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while operating audio-visual equipment. Ensure compliance with copyright laws and intellectual property rights for media content used during events.

Physicals aspects include but are not limited to:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
