AV Technician

Job description / Role

• Overviewing the installations of new projects
• Delegating staff on a certain job
• Planning and scheduling of the service of the projectors and other AV equipment
• Communicating to technical manager of allocation of new projectors and servers
• Mapping the spare parts availability
• Conducting trainings for the AV staff
• Setting up microphone mixer and click share for events
• Preparing RMA requests for projector/server repair
• Troubleshooting daily AV requirements for all UAE and Bahrain locations
• Managing the Plasma / LED network across Novo and coordinating with supplier for day to day operations
• Managing the Video Wall network and ensuring that AMC and other maintenance is done
• Managing the supplier for MX4D and ensuring all technicalities are carried out as per the AMC
• Coordinating with all suppliers on a regular basis for preventive maintenance where we have the AMC in place

Requirements

• 4-7 years of verifiable experience in the live and installed audio field
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
• Should be certified by Barco and Christie certified for repairs and maintenance if needed
• Knowledge of LED/Plasma and Video wall maintenance and installations
• Knowledge in electronics repair ideal but not mandatory
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Should have driving license in the UAE
