Job description / Role
A well established bank in the UAE is actively looking for an AVP Policy & Procedures. The job mainly entails providing Process & Policy Management support to Elite & Private banking.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for documenting policy driven processes for the entire products and services.
* Responsible timely completion of process documentation cycle, providing inputs to Elite & Private banking management on process improvement initiatives, guiding Elite & Private banking units on efficient and customer-centric process journey mapping and managing the optimization of all processes within E&PB.
* Responsible for embedding Key Operational Risk Controls (KORCs) in documented processes to mitigate risks, in compliance with Central Bank regulations and local Regulatory authorities.
Requirements
Education and Previous Experience Requirement:
* Educated to a minimum of MBA in business administration, commerce, economics or Finance.
* Minimum of 7+ years of experience in combined fields of investment products, finance, accounts and wealth management systems.
* Must have UAE experience across the banking sector.
* Ability to operate independently and positively motivate a team
* Working knowledge of wealth management related software like Alpha, AIM (Bloomberg), Advent, etc.
