Job description / Role

You will play a pivotal role in managing the deal cycle from origination through to exit, encompassing due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio management. You will work closely with senior management to identify investment opportunities, execute transactions, and enhance the performance of existing investments

Description

Deal Origination and Execution:
* Lead the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities across various sectors globally
* Conduct thorough due diligence, financial analysis, and market research to assess potential investments.
* Prepare detailed investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.

Transaction Structuring and Negotiation:
* Structure and negotiate complex transactions, including equity investments, leveraged buyouts, and growth capital deals.
* Collaborate with legal and financial advisors to execute transaction documents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Portfolio Management:
* Monitor and manage existing portfolio companies, actively contributing to strategic decisions and operational improvements.
* Develop and implement value creation initiatives to enhance portfolio company performance and maximize returns.

Financial Modeling and Valuation:
* Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions and portfolio monitoring.
* Conduct valuation analyses using various methodologies such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

Investor Relations and Reporting:
* Engage with investors, preparing presentations and reports on fund performance, investment strategy, and market trends.
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders on portfolio company performance and investment outlook.

Team Leadership and Development:
* Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on deal execution and professional development.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the private equity team.

Market Research and Strategy:
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new investment opportunities.
* Contribute to the formulation of fund strategy and investment thesis based on market analysis and research findings.
