Back Office & Operations Analyst (Right Angle Application)

Charterhouse is working with a leading trading business that focuses on oil based derivatives across local and international markets. Our client is looking to hire a Product Controller to work across the Back Office and Operations to cover trade settlements, support processing and monitor positioning.

Sitting within the Back Office & Operations function, this role will provide an overview to the Director of Middle & Back Office in supporting trade entries & confirmations to manage counter parties & brokers across trade executions & transactional "back-up". This role will be focused towards areas of sales & trade administration along with invoice processing, to ensure that all invoicing procedures are accurate & reconciled to allow for timely payments aligned with contractual and pricing policies. Heavily geared towards working across the Trading Risk Management (TRM) system, "RightAngle", this position will exist to ensure the maintenance and accuracy in supporting this front to back office system. On top of this, the coverage will provide the development of policies & nuances, to allow for efficiencies and data accuracy for business analysis. This is a vital aspect in developing a strong, robust and detailed support to the Front Office, in trading activity, margins and pricing.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a young & driven professional who can demonstrate up to 5 years of successful experience in a trading environment within an operational or Back Office function. You will require a strong & process-based knowledge coupled with a focus and exposure to the TRM system of RightAngle to ensure a smooth inception in to the organisation. An understanding of derivatives based trading will be a distinct advantage and a consideration within the client's search criterion.
