Core Backend Development Skills:
- Proficiency in Node.js: Extensive experience with Node.js, including asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and package management (NPM/Yarn).
- API Development: Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation.
- Database Management: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including schema design and optimization.
- Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices principles and experience in building and maintaining microservices-based applications.
- Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and debugging techniques.
- Version Control: Expertise with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitHub/GitLab).

Blockchain-Specific Skills:
- Smart Contracts: Experience with smart contract development, particularly using Solidity for Ethereum or other similar platforms.
- Blockchain Protocols: In-depth understanding of major blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) and consensus mechanisms (e.g., PoW, PoS).
- Decentralized Applications (dApps): Experience in developing and deploying dApps, with an understanding of how backend services interact with blockchain networks.
- Web3.js/Ethers.js: Proficiency in using Web3.js or Ethers.js for interacting with blockchain nodes from a Node.js backend.
- Cryptography: Knowledge of cryptographic principles, including encryption, hashing, and digital signatures, particularly as they apply to blockchain.
- Token Standards: Familiarity with common token standards like ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.

DevOps & Infrastructure:

- Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and managing backend services.
- Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and deployment.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience setting up and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Soft Skills:
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of decentralized systems.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team, with good communication skills to explain complex blockchain concepts to non-experts.
- Adaptability: Willingness and ability to stay updated with the rapidly evolving blockchain technology landscape.

Salary:
AED 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
