This role focuses on designing and delivering robust backend systems that power user?centric data and digital products. You'll work across the full web stack, collaborating with product, design, AI, and engineering teams to drive quality and performance.

You will also contribute to shaping scalable architectures, evolving backend standards, and integrating advanced technologies.

Description

* Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable server?side applications and APIs
* Develop and optimise database structures to ensure fast, reliable data access
* Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to enhance product functionality
* Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency
* Integrate third?party services while maintaining reliability and security

* 4 years' backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python
* At least 2 years' experience working with AI-assisted tools
* Clear communicator able to explain technical concepts to non?technical teams
* Bonus: exposure to full?stack development, SRE/DevOps, or AI?powered products
