Balance Sheet Optimisation VP

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a leading regional bank with an international presence who is looking to grow out and strengthen their Treasury Function through the addition of a Balance Sheet Optimisation specialist.

The bank possess a complex global balance sheet and it is therefore critical that the balance sheet remains resilient and at optimal capital and liquidity levels. You will act as the lead for developing and building models around FTP to meet and measure risk adjusted performance objectives.

This role very much has a technical focus and will be key in allowing a strong and resilient balance sheet meeting regulatory measures, frameworks and metrics. This is a high visibility role within treasury and will include working with multiple stakeholders across both front and middle office functions, including the group treasurer.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate will possess at least 8 years’ balance sheet and Treasury related experience within an international bank’s head office function. Having previously built and developed FTP or balance sheet related models will be vital for this role as well.
