Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a global law firm that is looking for a Banking and Finance Professional Support Lawyer with 5 PQE + to play a key role in its established and well regarded Dubai / Abu Dhabi offering.
The role will involve working with UK PSL team and UAE Partners in relation to maintaining and developing the firm’s banking precedents database; training, updating, implementing technological innovation etc. The role will involve covering the full mix of banking work within the division, including the conventional and Islamic finance aspects of finance legal work (i.e. corporate lending, acquisition, leverage, RE, project finance DCM, asset finance etc.). The firm is continuing to grow, so an excellent opportunity to join a market leading law firm with an excellent UAE / Middle East banking practice.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be an experienced Common Law qualified banking Lawyer, based either in the UAE with legal directories rated firm experience or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia or New Zealand etc. The firm is interested in a high calibre individual who will be able and comfortable working independently and / or within a team structure. Experience of all aspects of finance covered / Islamic finance is not required, although candidates interested in building on their experience in the area are also of interest. The role is paying international firm competitive PSL tax free remuneration.
