Job description / Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create high-quality beverages while providing excellent service to our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of coffee and tea drinks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, providing recommendations and information about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Handle cash and electronic payments, providing accurate change and receipts to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels, and assist with ordering and restocking supplies to ensure product availability.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Stay up-to-date with coffee trends and techniques, actively participating in training sessions and workshops.
- Assist in training new staff members and promoting teamwork among team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the café.

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and equipment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to share that passion with others.

Salary:
AED 2,000 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Company Visa, Medical Insurance, Duty Meal, Air Ticket Allowance (every two years)
