What you do

The Health Reinsurance Officer is responsible for providing administrative services for various reinsurance arrangements to support business growth. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating reinsurance contracts and negotiating the terms and conditions as per company policy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepares new reinsurance contracts for potential and confirmed clients.
  • Prepares a comparison sheet listing the similarities and differences between cedents.
  • Follows up on all the requested signed treaty documents between the cedents, AWP Dubai, and AWP Head Office (Paris and Dublin).
  • Prepares and monitors contracts for signature (treaties, slips, PNOCs, NDAs, brokers agreements).
  • Organizes and participates in meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Supports in maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
  • Supports in preparing minutes of meetings and follows up on action points.
  • Coordinates with the Underwriting team on all late referrals and project priorities.
  • Performs monthly bordereau to all clients with all booked business for confirmation in order to avoid account discrepancy with the Production/Finance team.
  • Prepares monthly reports showing all the business consideration cases.
  • Maintains a detailed record of the business pipeline and closing ratios for treaties and jumbo/strategic accounts.
  • Monitors the Underwriting TAT based on the quotation register sheet in order to anticipate any potential complaints and solve them before they occur.
  • Supports in organizing/coordinating meeting arrangements by liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Documents minutes of meetings and follows up on action items when requested.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree; legal or insurance background preferred.
  • 2+ years relevant experience.
