Role Summary:

The Early Engagement Leader is a Customer facing leader. demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes, manage complex issues, involved in long-term planning, that meet business needs and contribute to the overall business strategy. The qualified candidate will serve as BHGE Bently Nevada strategic Leader of globally located project opportunities in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation markets.

Essential Responsibilities:

This position has responsibilities for creating full scope plant asset management solutions for new construction plants in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation market The candidate will be responsible for creating and driving strategies that position BHGE Bently Nevada as the provider of choice or partner to achieve value as defined in partnership with BHGE and the end user The candidate will influence all suppliers including, but not limited to EPCs, MACs, and OEMs through early engagement with project teamsĀ·

- Responsible for the sale of products, services, and total system solutions
- Provide technical expertise to Sales and Commercial Operations in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications and solutions
- Responsible to support the sales team to meet orders goals for the region and by market segment Provide training and technical support to the Region Managers and Sales Managers
- Coordinate with sales force to make customer calls and presentations and participate in bid meetings with the customer as necessary
- Assess competitive system performance and hardware evaluation throughout the entire bid process
- Respond to various technical questions regarding products and systems solutions
- The early engagement Leader will work in virtual sales teams for each global project with individual sales managers from end user, EPC, and MAC accounts, as well as region ITO, OTR, and PM resources
- Mentoring of Sales Managers throughout the selling process. Develop opportunities through the Opportunity to Inquiry phase of the sales process and to participate in prospecting and qualifying opportunities to result in a managed and balanced funnel
- As projects are sufficiently scoped and the strategy is under control, they will be handed off to the region for final negotiations and closing.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Commercial or Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in Global and Key Accounts
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

Desired Characteristics:

- Strong technical knowledge of BHGE Bently Nevada plant asset management and reliability solutions
- Strong knowledge of GE processes, technologies, and organization
- Certified and experienced Miller Heiman Strategic Selling process
- Miller Heiman Large Account Management Process certification
- Six sigma training is preferred
- Strong presentation skills

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong customer mindset
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Prior experience with customer specifications review, proposal development, and contract development and negotiations is preferred
- Prior experience in developing and writing specifications and proposals is preferred

- Ability to provide technical direction and training for leadership program candidates
- Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and develop complex solutions utilizing the entire GE portfolio
- Experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
- Experience in problem solving, customer issue resolution, creating value, and economic buyer return on investment specifics
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
