Bid Manager

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities / Accountability

- Contribute to DarkMatter's business development activities that will generate revenues and lead to top line growth
- Manage bids/direct pursuits and provide RFIs/PQQs/RFPs/Proposals/Contracts reviews to ensure DarkMatter's business, operations, transactions and initiatives comply with applicable policies, governance and procedures
- Build propositions for new business opportunities in alignment to DarkMatter business development strategy through directing the required inputs from DarkMatter Practices, Finance, Procurement and Legal departments
- Manage new business opportunities across DarkMatter's MSCs - Government, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Transport & Telco
- Provide effective support to the business development teams ensuring effective demand management whilst meeting challenging timelines
- Manage all facets of opportunity management from cradle-to-grave, including: requirements/RFPs reviews and mapping to DM portfolio, defining response templates in compliance to customer requirements, advising on inputs/reviewing technical proposal, building cost and price models, conduct financial analysis, draft/negotiate commercials terms and conditions, draft commercial proposals, conduct reviews/QA, manage approvals and oversee the production plan and submission logistics for each submission
- Advise, develop and/or review commercial models according to company goals and standards aiming to accelerate growth
- Constructively challenge the status quo and continuously seek out better alternatives
- Ensure the bid library is updated with latest submissions and is regularly maintained
- Contribute to the statistical analysis on pipeline and forecasting with a goal to improve business growth
- Engage with partners ensuring requirements, timelines and dependencies are understood and commitments have been gained
- If required, act as the point of contact for partner's business/contracts/ procurement team and support the negotiation of contracts in support of Business Development
- Partner/sub-contractor contract reviews, discussion and management to ensure back to back arrangements whilst protecting DM from risks and maintaining profitable partnerships
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify, address or mitigate commercial risks and issues

To bring your dream to life, you'll need

- Bachelors degree (Business/ or Post Graduate (Business)
- 7- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Regional experience in Cyber Security Solutions & Services, IT Solutions & Managed Services, Digital Transformation
- Excellent knowledge in Sales process and lifecylce
- Experience in Opportunity Management
