Bid Manager - Facilities Management

Job description / Role

Our client, an FM Service Provider is currently seeking a BID Manager to be based in Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities
• Deliver FM Work Winning targets for the MENA region, ensuring work won is in-line with company strategy and profitable.
• Hold an up-to-date understanding of the macro economic and political environment within the MENA Region over the plan period.
• Consider the implication of this for the key Sectors within which we operate or wish to enter.
• To convert work winning opportunities into successful and profitable contracts.
• To create a bid strategy and work with the other Work Winning resources to identify, capture and develop win themes.

Key Requirements:
• Needs to be technical, be able to read and understand contracts, scoping documents, KPI’s and SLA mechanisms etc.
• Solutioning expertise and be able to convert tender information into operational solutions.
• Analytical, needs to be able to analyse and interpret data.

• A professionally recognised FM qualification (e.g. BIFM).
• Possesses deep knowledge of bid writing in a complex environment.
• Significant track record of success in developing business in the FM market, technically and commercially aware.
• Aware of the trends in the market-place and seeks to deepen knowledge of industry issues and drivers.
• MENA Experience preferred.
• An innovative approach and sound leadership qualities.
• Experience of managing both hard & soft FM services.
