Job description / Role
Global Village is currently looking for a Bilingual Marketing Content Developer to join its Marketing Department. The position is for 6-7 months.
- Write and monitor content for Email Notifications, App Notifications, EDMs, Newsletters, Website and Landing Pages
- Write and monitor content for any internal brochures, signage and any copy based requirements
- Proof-read all collateral and creative from GV
- Write weekly blogs
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms
- Conduct daily walk around and site-visits to create feature rich content for blogs, articles and posts on SEO friendly topics, such as:
• What’s New this month
• Top 10 things to do in Dubai this weekend
• Why is Global Village a must visit in Dubai
• Things to do in Dubai this winter (targeting residents)
• Why visit Dubai this winter season (targeting tourists)
• This is what you can shop in the xxxx Pavilion of Global Village
• Guide to shopping in Global Village – best leather, best beauty products, best coffee, etc.
• Highlights on unique F&B concepts
• Focus on Stunt Show, Circus, Carnaval,festive celebrations
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email and social marketing
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively. Proficiency in English & Arabic (compulsory)
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role. Portfolio of published articles, blogs and relevant references required.
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- Experience using WordPress and MailChimp preferred
- Candidate MUST be able to edit content in both Arabic and English
- Candidate must be flexible with working hours (3 PM till 12 Midnight)
