Employment: Full Time

Project Management and Commercials

- Responsible for completion of projects within his/her team to time and cost
- Able to reliably manage a team/group - manage staff development, personnel management, staff appraisals etc.
- Fully conversant with Atkins financial systems and commercial aspects of project management
- Good relationships with Atkins colleagues outside of the business area.
- Report on Team’s performance on a regular basis (i.e. timesheets, productivity, progress, resourcing)
- Regular client contact
- Acquainted with client specific standards and procedures
- Building relationships with a growing set of clients
- Very good understanding CAD/BIM technologies, markets and able to discuss with clients
- Successful in identifying and following lead’s suggestions associated with new and existing clients
- Able to review estimate associated with projects within their area of expertise.Able to respond professionally to enquiries

Requirements

Technical Requirements

- Implementing and maintaining the CAD/BIM strategy and processes for the company.
- Manages the production of CAD/BIM models and drawings for major projects
- Responsible for project set-up and job customizations.
- Updating Reference Data Base and extraction of drawings and reports.
- Should ensure that the design team and the CAD/BIM staff work in coordination and in compliance with the CAD/BIM procedures.
- Supervise a group of CAD/BIM teams by directing technical engineering assignments.
- Recruit, train and supervise CAD/BIM users in core application skills and standards
- Standardizing the daily activities and ensuring the implementation of Quality Procedures in the CAD/BIM team.
- Improvement in the quality of work produced by CAD/BIM staff; Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of the staff; Organise/Provide necessary training to CAD/BIM staff.
- Capable of handling complex projects.
- Performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.
- Understands and applies commonly used company design standards and methods. May assist in the establishment or revision of guidelines and standards.
- Collaborates with Engineers and other engineering disciplines to ensure quality of design.
- Able to guide on suitability of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System) for the projects
- Able to contribute towards DECI (Digital Engineering Capability Improvement) ideas.
