Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Responsible for set-up and direction of BIM workflow on assigned projects.
• Develops solutions for variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Drafts project BIM execution plans
• Reviews and audits model data to ensure compliance is achieved.
• Performs model QA/QC checks on projects according to established standards.
• Works with project delivery team members to resolve model problems and ensure understanding of project and BIM standards.
• Is able to extract, manipulate, validate and present model information as required for project management, project controls, cost consulting, and other non-BIM producing teams
• Facilitates training sessions with project teams on software applications and processes.
• Contributes to the development of processes, procedures, templates and model content for project delivery use
• Works with project delivery team members to resolve model problems and ensure understanding of project and BIM standards
• Researches and develops existing applications and custom applications to aid in project delivery and management workflows.
• Uses tools such as Dynamo to develop efficiency and automation.
• Facilitates training sessions with project teams on software applications and processes.
• Works under general supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years of hands-on BIM project delivery experience OR
• 2-4 years of technical design project delivery experience.
• Expert in the following, as appropriate to the design disciplines they are supporting: Autodesk Revit, Aconex, Navisworks, Solibri, Tekla BIMsight, etc
• Expert in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
• Experience in tools such as Dynamo preferable.
• Experience with team training.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in BIM delivery.
• Knowledge and experience of industry practices and collaboration workflows.
• Sound knowledge of various BIM standards.
• Knowledge of BIM project lifecycle and understanding of QTO requirements.
• Extensive experience in Revit and Navisworks is a prerequisite.
• Good technical knowledge of practice line discipline.
• Work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with delivering projects in the UAE.
