Job description / Role
Our client is an engineering consultancy specializing in civil, structural, building and MEP requirements around the world.
This role is suitable for an experienced BIM individual in Dubai who has experience working on large scale civil & structural projects..
Responsibilities:
- Implement BIM technologies on large scale construction projects to include 4D (scheduling & Manpower) and 5D (cost analysis) using BIM models.
- Provide leadership, direction, and feedback to assigned project resources (BIM Engineers/Architects/ Junior BIM Engineers/Architects).
- Develop project specific BIM standards.
- Ability to communicate the benefits of BIM, both for internal and external purposes
- Ensures development and compliance with the approved BIM execution methods
- Coordinates & checks drawings
Requirements
- 8+year’s production experience in structural or civil engineering.
- Civil Engineering/Structural back
- Extensive BIM transitioning experience in multi-disciplinary companies;
- Competent with relevant Bim Softwares
- Knowledge of construction nomenclature and techniques (means and methods)
