WSP are looking for a BIM Manager whom will be responsible in developing and delivering structured BIM models and ensuring that the teams are working in a streamlined and efficient manner on projects using software such as Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, BIMTrack, A360 and AutoCAD.
Your new role, what's involved?
* Leading the delivery of WSP BIM 'Way of Working' on various projects.
* Training / Mentoring BIM and design staff on correct use of BIM Software and BIM process (ME & CRC) including regular in person visits to the CRC offices as required.
* Defining requirements in project BIM scope and BIM execution plan.
* Leading technical meetings regarding BIM in the ME and CRC.
* Liaising with CRC BIM Lead to ensure project delivery runs smoothly.
* Identifying and assessing new software tools.
* Responsible for Revit family creation as required.
* Supporting ME Bid managers on Prospect and project BIM resource requirement estimates.
* Resolving Revit Bugs / Issues that cannot be resolved by project team.
* Performing quality review on project coordination strategy.
* Performing quality review on models and drawing deliverables.
* Performing quality review on project drawing lists.
* Performing quality review on model data population.
* Performing quality review on Revit schedule production.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in any relevant Engineering or Architectural field.
* Minimum of 10 years broad experience in design, drafting and BIM management on large scale projects.
* Mandatory proficiency andHands-on on Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM authoring tools.
* Mandatory proficiency onAutodesk Navisworks Manage.
* Mandatory proficiency on BIM360 andACONEX
* Proficiency on Dynamoscripting tools would be of advantage.
* Extensive knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650 sieries.
