BIM Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join an international architecture and engineering consultancy based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) on a major mixed-use project based in Dubai. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM technologies, standards, and workflows across multiple disciplines, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The BIM Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the design and construction processes, driving innovation, and promoting best practices in BIM utilization across all projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies and processes across all projects.
- Manage and coordinate BIM models, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate BIM into project workflows.
- Provide technical support and training for staff on BIM tools and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans tailored to individual project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to identify and resolve issues.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients regarding BIM-related topics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in BIM technology and industry trends.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in BIM practices within the organization.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management within the architecture and engineering consultancy sector.
- Proven experience in leading BIM projects from inception to completion.
- Prior experience working with tier one contracting firm, consultancy experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of BIM software and tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of BIM standards and protocols (ISO 19650, PAS 1192, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes and regulations related to BIM.

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
