Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

BIM Modeler uses building information modelling software to create three-dimensional visual plan for project. They ensure 3D models, drawings and structural data are hosted in one and deliver project information model to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with architects and engineer, modeling and presenting the concepts requested by these team members.

Responsibilities
• Create Revit (BIM) models and /or AutoCAD drawings to high level of accuracy.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings according to requirements
• Develop plans, section, elevations, and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.
• Understand the sequencing of construction projects as well as MEP, Architectural and Structural engineering disciplines
• Strong working knowledge of and understanding of spatial relations.
• Continued development of “best practices” for BIM
• Understanding and interpreting architectural and structural details as they affect the MEP installations.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree essential.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD design 2D/3D MEP Revit
• Proven ability to perform in a technical role, possess good written and oral communication skills.
