BIM Modeler – Interior Design / Fit-Out

Job description / Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented BIM Modeler – Interior Design to join our client's design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing 3D BIM models for interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and alignment with project standards.

The role requires a strong understanding of interior detailing, joinery, finishes, and design coordination, along with hands-on expertise in Revit and BIM processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and manage 3D BIM models for interior and fit-out projects using Autodesk Revit.
• Produce detailed shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs directly from the model.
• Coordinate interior models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure models adhere to company BIM standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and site teams to maintain accuracy and design intent.
• Assist in clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Support visual presentations and documentation when required.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling for interior design or fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of joinery, finishes, and interior detailing.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (BIM 360 experience is an advantage).
• Knowledge of BIM standards (LOD, ISO 19650) preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail, time management, and a proactive work approach.
