Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking for a BIM Technician to add to our growing team based in Dubai UAE

Job Duties to include:
• Liaise with Parsons internal BIM program managers to integrate policies and procedures for digital transformation into the landscape architecture department’s working methods. Implement these requirements by integrating them into our day-to-day work processes. Initially, be primarily responsible for production of deliverables in BIM.
• Work with Senior Landscape Architects, PM’s and design managers to adopt new ways of working which are compliant with internal and external requirements. Help the Landscape Department move from 0% to 100% compliant with requirements and expectations for BIM deliverables both internal to Parsons and external to our clients, public and private.
• Educate, mentor, and troubleshoot CAD technicians, 3D modeling / visualization technicians, and junior designers to learn to operate BIM productively and how to comply with internal and external requirements and expectations.
• Work with landscape architects and designers to document site work designs for complex urban mixed use projects in a full BIM environment.
• Be flexible to work on projects in a variety of modes ranging from participation in conceptual designs, report preparation, through every phase of design including schematic design, design development, drawings issued for tender and construction, and post-contract support.
• Be available to work with Mater Planning and Urban Design and Architecture teams in the Build Environment studio in a similar capacity, and liaise with other BIM operators, managers, and coordinators with the Build Environment Sector.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of BIM, ACAD, REVIT, and other modeling and rendering software including Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max
• Degree in landscape architecture or architecture
• Experience working in a landscape architecture office
• Experience in international design office; Middle East experience preferred
• Good technical, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
