BIM Technician - Roads

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician with expertise in Roads to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and implementation of BIM processes for road infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to develop and maintain BIM models for road infrastructure projects.
- Utilize BIM software to create and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and documentation for roads and highways.
- Ensure that BIM models and documentation comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts in the BIM models.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Min 4 years of experience as Roads BIM Technician.
- Proven experience as a BIM Technician with a focus on road and highway projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Auto CAD, Naviswork or similar applications.
- In-depth knowledge of road design principles, geometric design, and civil engineering standards.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to road infrastructure projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in BIM modeling and documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Certification in BIM and relevant software applications is a plus.
