Bookkeeper

Job description / Role

Our client is a Dubai based real estate investment & Private Equity company, based in Business Bay.

We are searching for a Chartered Accountant who will report to the Chief Accountant in this 2-person finance team.

• Preparation of payments and related vouchers;
• Preparation of receipt vouchers;
• Petty cash payments and reconciliation;
• Maintaining proper records of rental income, service charges and maintenance charges for all the UAE properties;
• Bank reconciliation statements preparation for all bank accounts;
• Utility bill payment and recording;
• Bank trips for various banking jobs;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and posting SAGE entries;
• Printing & filing of all the bank statements;
• Assistance with opening and closing of bank accounts;
• Assistance with annual audit requirements;
• Processing the salary of employees through WPS;
• Maintaining proper records for employee benefit payments to be paid;
• Maintaining proper records for receivables and payables and dealing with them in a timely manner;
• Assistance with restructuring of the group companies;
• Maintaining all the hard and soft files of the finance department;
• Executing and recording personal payments for the Managing director and maintaining his petty cash float;
• Assistance to senior management with preparation of various finance related reports from time to time.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant

Excellent experience of double-entry bookkeeping / debits&credits

Around 3-5 years work experience, no older than 30 yrs old.

Friendly, personable, ambitious personality

Able to join at short notice (no more than 30 days)

Must be living in Dubai already
