Job description / Role
The Branch Manager is responsible for the entire business functions and performance, as well as the overall decision making and efficiency of all departments.
Main Tasks include:
• Oversee the development and implementation of the company strategy and business plan
• Develop yearly budget, monitor budget expenditure and monitor deviation
• Approve plans, monitor achievement of planned targets, and provide recommendations where needed
• Oversee the execution of operations, identify improvements and ensure their implementation
• Keep updated on the latest regulation changes and make sure necessary actions are taken to be fully compliant with requirements at all times
• Review and approve working methodologies, policies and procedures and ensure their implementation
• Review quarterly and yearly financial statements and submit to concerned authorities
• Act as the official representative of the company to official and regulatory authorities
• Handle matters relating to ongoing recruitment of staff, including interviews and hiring
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an insurance company or brokerage; sales experience is a must
• Knowledge of the processes, procedures and operations of insurance firms and brokerages
• Knowledge in financial planning and strategy formulation
