Employment: Full Time

This role based in the Dubai office combines both Brand Activation and Portfolio Management.

In this role you gain market share for the MEA region through branded propositions. In addition, you build relations with consumers and retailers through active category management, promotional activation and communication. Purpose of the role is to build year on year marketing plans for profitable and sustainable growth.

Description

Brand Activation and Portfolio Management, FMCG Retail. This role based in the Dubai office combines both Brand Activation and Portfolio Management. In this role you gain market share for the MEA region through branded propositions. In addition, you build relations with consumers and retailers through active category management, promotional activations and communication. Purpose of the role is to build year on year marketing plans for profitable and sustainable growth.

* Continuously improve the sales margin contribution
* Increase value and volume market share
* Manage the marketing budget
* Together with sales propose and execute integrated annual plans
* Establish proactively a long-term innovation pipeline based on Category opportunities
* Develop value based pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales
* Manage Customer portfolio performance
* Drive and propose Retail brand architecture improvements
* Assess and ensure launch planning and implementation
* Define innovation & renovation needs for the retail portfolio in the MEA region
* Support stage gate funnel management with the brand in the Core
* Support/Manage Brand Request (BRF's)
* Develop and execute social media strategies to build the brand and increases shelf off-take
* Drive brand visibility and presence in marketplace
* Develop and executes customer / consumer activation programs
* Develop close marketplace connections with customers / consumers
* Monitor market developments and brand performance (sales, shares, distribution)
* Responsible for showing ROI and proposing improvements
* Ensure strong collaborative relationships with marketing/media/communication agencies as well as Sales / Account Manager/Core Marketing functions and marketing peers of customers
* Build successful (agency) team relationship
* Lead, communicate and execute the category and brand strategies in- and outside the organisation by acting as a brand ambassador and category leader

Job Offer

* 35,000-45,000 AED fixed package + medical, flights, schooling, bonus

Requirements

Brand Activation and Portfolio Management, FMCG Retail

* Must be fluent (mother tongue) Arabic both written and verbal
* 5-8 years proven experience in Brand Building; Category Management; Portfolio Management; Concept Development, (Digital) Communication and Sales Promotions in the Modern Trade retail channel for a multinational Food/Beverage / FMCG business.
* Must have had direct responsibility for marketing and branding budgets.
* Solid Project Management skills and a structured analytical mind.
* Team player and leadership competencies in a matrix structure.
