Employment: Full Time

ARN, today is a leading multi-platform entertainment company with 18 radio brands delivering award-winning programming available via multi-broadcast media – radio, online, digital, smartphone, via live satellite TV and now a new creative agency dedicated to video.

Virgin Radio Dubai is operated by ARN, the largest broadcaster in country, with 9 brands that reach over 200 nationalities living in the UAE. We’re on the hunt for a dynamic brand/promotions/marketing team to help drive the next phase of growth at the station. You’ll be working on the nation’s leading English language radio channel, as part of the dynamic marketing unit. Do you love the biggest current hits and want to work on the biggest station in the region? Are you able to come up with big ideas for on-air promotions to drive new audiences to the brand?

We’re not looking for brain surgeons, we just want someone who has the drive, ability and personality to ensure that our station remains #1 when the Nielsen results come out.
A good knowledge of activating digitally is essential, as we are promoting our brands on the major platforms and targeting new audiences with ads and boosted content every day.

• You’ll be working in a marketing team of 21 made up of over 11 nationalities. If you want to embrace the world of cultures, this is the place to be.
• Every day we come up with ideas for our clients that help them activate with our audiences via the station.
• Yes, we need an ideas person, but we also need the kind of person who can implement what they say.
• You’ll be working in a small team for one brand, so you’ll have to be good at a bit of everything.
• Detail is important, we’re part of a big corporation and so you’ll be putting together contracts, MOU’s and ensuring that all our paperwork is completed for each promotion and activity.
• On ground events are a huge part of what we do, working with advertisers who want our V Team to host events and roadshows on-ground, through to the marketing of the biggest hit music festival, Virgin Radio RedFestDXB.

Requirements

• Degree preferably in Marketing or a proven track record in the role.
• Work experience in similar capacity.
• At least 1 year of work experience in the radio industry – marketing role.
• Computer Skills especially in handling Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and the Internet.
• Proficient in English and or Arabic and or Hindi/Tamil (spoken and written).
• Solid understanding of what contributes to successful marketing campaigns and creative.
