Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is with a Multinational company, a global leader specializing in advanced industrial products and services for the energy and mobility sectors into manufacturing of products in stainless steel and high-nickel alloy.

In this position you would be responsible for the following:
• Operate and monitor buck-on equipment to perform premium threading operations on OCTG products, ensuring adherence to specified standards and customer requirements.
• Set up and adjust machinery, including hydraulic systems, to achieve optimal performance and quality in threading processes.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and prevent downtime.
• Monitor production output and inspect finished products to verify conformity to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed to maintain continuous operation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address technical issues, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and inspection results.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing duties in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

To be successful you would ideally possess :

• Mechanical Trade certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years specifically in OCTG premium threading operations.
• Proven experience with premium threading technologies such as JFE, VAM, TENARIS, VAGT, or TPCQ.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in hydraulic systems used in industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety.
