Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Protect organization's interest by keeping information confidential.

Costing:
- Interact with Production Control to ensure Bills of Materials are accurate and up to date.
- Review and audit BOM to ensure they reflect the updated manufacturing practices.
- Update the BOM, Formula and Route on regular basis as per the variance
- Work with the finance department to implement and apply cost accounting policies and procedures as they are derived.
- Support internal controller’s efforts for implementing and maintaining controls over operations, sales, purchasing, and finance
- Development of new labor and overhead rates, budget, and forecasts.
- Perform product/plant cost analysis to support the operations.
- Prepare detailed costing of all products and processes.
- Lead the cost reduction process

Budgeting:
- Prepare annual budget for the organization in co-ordination with functional heads.
- Compile the budget and upload it on the system.
- Analyze and report actual labor, material, and overhead cost against Standard Budget
- Finalize key performance indicators for key areas in the budget for performance measurement in terms of sales, production cost, purchasing and overhead
- Prepare forecast keeping in view the budgetary goals and business requirements.
- Work with department heads to understand and explain any significant deviation between budget/forecast and actuals.
- Lead the long term financial planning forecasting process for Commercial Operations and headcount spending plans
- Review expenses/overheads and recommend steps for ensuring control.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and report the variance analysis against budget to the executive management on monthly or as needed.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Assist in month, quarterly, and yearly closing of financial statement
- Reconciles product costing discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains financial security by implementing internal controls.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Identify the business risks and recommend corrective action.

CUSTOMER SERVICE DUTIES:
- Continuous reconciliation with all internal and external stake holders
- Involve in internal and external audit process
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

Requirements

- Accounting and Finance Degree
- Professional Certificates (ACCA/CFA/CMA/CIMA/CPA)
- 5 years work experience in budgeting and costing in FMCG
