Building Services Coordinator

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

Supervising soft services performed by third party contractor.

Checking the timesheet of third-party soft services staff and recording any absence.

Taking daily tour in and around the building and notifying third-party soft services supervisor in case of any faults and ensuring they are addressed.

Managing pantry items and stationeries (including ordering, maintaining stock, maintaining distribution records) and executing monthly reports for auditing.

Supervising gardening and landscaping (indoor and outdoor plants).

Reporting to facilities in case of any snags on gardening and landscaping.

Supervising monthly pest control services and documentation.

Warehouse management including planning, shifting, storing, and arranging disposals with documentation.

Responding to any maintenance calls received verbally or by email and having it attended by the concerned facilities department at the earliest by phone or email.

Overall supervision of janitorial, pantry, garden and landscaping, pest control, and warehousing activities and reporting to the building services officer with daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Requirements:

Pre-university or any bachelor degree holder.

Good communication in English (spoken and written) and knowledge of spoken Arabic preferred.

Good knowledge in computer basic applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Ability to work under pressure in case of emergency scenarios.

Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports.

Previous experience as building services coordinator.
