Job Description:

The Business Development Expert EMEA South Center of Excellence LOB Finance bears primary responsibility for supporting the long-term objective of revenue, market share and product usage of Governance, Risk and Compliance (short GRC) and Security solutions in the EMEA South region. The Business Development Expert is responsible for supporting Management in driving the development and execution of business, financial and strategic objectives, and ensuring alignment with sales objectives and initiatives. The Business Development Expert has overall responsibility for directing the GRC & Security application's go to market strategies and maximizing revenue and margins from the market units. The Business Development Expert ensures the effective and efficient use of all GRC & Security related resources obtained and utilized from the geographic region, consultants utilized from third-party providers and partner eco-system, and implementation of leading competitive solutions that satisfy customer business drivers and focus on world-class customer-specific value propositions.

EXpecations and Tasks:

The role as Business Development Expert EMEA South CoE for GRC & Security is pivotal for the continued success of our GRC & Security products for the Digital Economy and Industry 4.0 world. The key tasks are the following:

- Take the leadership role, acting as a trusted advisor on GRC & Security. Be the champion and central point of expertise for questions and issues related to the GRC & Security topic
- Discover key trends and priorities in the area of the sizeable GRC & Security solution portfolio
- Define target markets and develop a solution strategy through research, business insights and appropriate customer segmentation in deep alignment with the SAP GRC solution portfolio and strategy
- Support sales to create and grow large and strategic digital transformation deals
- Partner with field sales by offering a distinctive value based selling approach and leveraging knowledge of the GRC & security solutions, digital transformation and customer intimacy
- Plan and manage suitable demand generation actions and orchestrate execution of marketing activities to ensure strategy execution, which may include creation of new collateral
- Enable partners on the compelling GRC & Security solutions
- Understand and leverage best practice programs, tools, methods and processes already available on global level
- Identify and prioritize where new processes (net new names, dormant customers, etc.) are required
- Able to work in an international cross functional and matrixed work environment
- Act as solution expert and trusted advisor to key customers in the EMEA South region
- Support SAP strategic direction moving to the Cloud
- Be the spokesperson and speaker for SAP GRC & Security externally on events and conferences.

Requirements

Work Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, consulting or business development roles in GRC & Security
- Experience in developing aligned business and IT roadmaps
- Strong product knowledge with GRC and Security solutions
- Understand the business value of combining GRC & Security solutions with SAP applications like S/4HANA, LoB Cloud applications or any other relevant application
- Strong knowledge around frameworks & regulations related to GRC and Security (e.g. ISO 31000, GDPR)
- Used to engaging with partners for channel sales, advisory or implementation projects.
- Practice in conducting executive workshops aligning diverse perspectives and expectations

Education and Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills (fluent English mandatory, French and Arabic would be advantage)
- Strong analytical skills and structured way of self-management
- Experience leading and orchestrating execution of cross-functional and regional virtual teams to achieve common goals.
- Exceptional influence and impact (without authority) skills and coaching (virtual) teams
- Deep understanding of economic figures and company KPIs and ability to deal with financial figure and strategy discussions
- Deep business knowledge of target audiences (Risk, Security and Finance Departments)
