Job description / Role
We are currently recruiting multiple Business Analysts on behalf of a leading organisation who have their Middle East headquarters based out of Dubai and due to continued growth they are now looking for additional resources. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the enterprises wide analytics projects.
The initiative that the role supports will deliver rapid value to business users through applying end-to-end business intelligence lifecycle in quick sprints, starting from capturing the requirements, data provisioning and modelling to presentation, leading up to insight driven analysis to the forefront of its decision-making capability.
Requirements
Applications are sought from those with 4+ years of hands-on, end-to-end BI experience in requirements management, design and development with focus on solution design, data modelling and data management. Extensive experience in developing and maintaining enterprise grade conceptual, logical and physical data models. Applicants need to have a broad exposure to high volume enterprise grade data management platforms like Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum and similar.
A comprehensive knowledge in design and usage of enterprise BI tools such as MicroStrategy, SAP BO, Tableau, IBM Cognos, Qlik and similar is needed. Experience with (open source) big data technologies and the relevant ecosystem and tools such as HDFS, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, Spark, Storm, Hawq, Druid, Flume, Sqoop, Kafka and similar are also required. Extensive exposure to enterprise data management tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM or similar are vital. You will need to be able to demonstrate your experience with large-scale business solutions across divisions of the enterprise. You should have the ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels. Airline industry experience is highly advantageous.
