About the role

Based in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a Business Analyst who is passionate about working in a small cross-functional team including developers and analysts to help deliver the tools and infrastructure we need to build, test and release to our major airport and airline customers.

The successful applicant will have experience working with either a Middle Eastern airline or airport.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, this position will be responsible for proactively analysing and developing current state and future state business process models and identifying business process improvements to ensure the delivery of valued, integrated and effective information and technology solutions to improve business processes and increase business productivity for a project with a Abu Dhabi based airline.

Main responsibilities: Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Analyse existing and future business processes and translate business requirements and improvements into information and technology system solutions
• Analyse business requirements and assess the needs within client groups
• Research and recommend technology solutions to address defined customer business problems.
• Provide specialist strategic and operational advice on business directions, using experience and knowledge of the business to influence strategic directions.
• Interpret business and user requirements and advise on the application of the information systems solution to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.
• Consult with reference groups in the identification, analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements related to the development, configuration and implementation of the information system solution.
• Assist in project scoping, planning and definition endeavours against an agile development framework.

• Gross monthly base salary: AED 4700 - 6500

Requirements

• Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in the role of Business Analyst within multiple, large, high risk, geographically dispersed IM/ICT Projects.
• Demonstrated high level experience in drawing business process models including 'as is' and 'to be'; with a particular focus on Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
• Demonstrated experience in developing user stories and use cases.
• Demonstrated high level experience in researching, analyzing and documenting business requirement specifications and software requirement specifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
• Specialist knowledge: Must have experience working with a Middle Eastern airline or airport
