6 months (extendable depending on project duration) under MPH contract and sponsorship

Qualification and experience required

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, engineering, or technical field (e.g. engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics). Master's / advanced degree is a plus.

Must have 7 years of experience in business analysis or product analytics in the oil & gas or energy sector; prior exposure to AI projects.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with large, complex data sets.

Experience with tools and languages relevant to data science / AI workflows: SQL, Python / R, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Understanding of AI/ML concepts: model training, validation, overfitting/underfitting, metrics (precision, recall, ROC, etc.).

Excellent communication skills: able to bridge between domain experts (engineers, geoscientists, operations) and technical teams; explain complex technical issues in business-friendly terms.

Proven ability in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, creating functional spec documents, user stories, use cases.

Experience in monitoring model performance, handling data quality issues, and iterative model improvement.

Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and ambiguity.
