Description
We're looking for a dynamic and accomplished Business intelligence/analytics professional. This team will generate enterprise reporting, Insight into the Amazon MENA business and drive data-driven decision making

Our ideal candidate has a combination of strong technical skills, outstanding business insight and excellent verbal and written communication skills. As a senior member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business and technology leaders and set up reporting systems and analytics for the organization.

The key responsibilities for this role include
- Generate critical insight and recommendations into business performance, deliver periodic business reviews, answer various adhoc questions from the business, evaluate what if scenarios, size opportunities, develop analytical solutions
- Working with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and frame into analytics project that teams can solve
- Mentor junior members on analytics framework and technical aspects
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing performance metrics, reports and dashboards to drive key business decisions
- Establish reporting standards and engage data engineering to deliver automated solutions, where possible
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations
- Simplify and automate reporting and other data-driven activities; build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders
- Setup and execute processes for performing exploratory data analysis to unearth insight or patterns that can be used to drive operational efficiency
- Build analytical / data science solutions to solve business problems

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in retail or in the Ecommerce or Services industries or in consulting
- Leadership experience in working with senior stakeholders
- Master’s or higher degree in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
- Advanced analytics skills
- Advance Knowledge and direct experience using BI reporting tools like Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlikview, etc
- Experience in big data concepts with a solid knowledge of SQL, including
- Strong knowledge of big data technologies and data modeling concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or higher degree in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
