Role overview

As a senior manager - business architect, you will lead the identification and realization of business value by conducting current state assessments and defining high-level customer requirements. You will design business solutions and structures, develop robust business cases, and influence key strategic decisions. This role requires deep subject matter expertise, strong advisory skills, and leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery.

This critical project focuses on leveraging SAP S/4HANA Finance to transform capital expenditure processes and drive strategic business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed current state assessments and identify high-impact business opportunities aligned with client goals.
• Define and design comprehensive business solutions and architectures to realize strategic objectives.
• Develop, present, and defend business cases to secure funding and executive buy-in.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP S/4HANA Finance, guiding solution architecture and implementation decisions.
• Apply advanced knowledge in business model strategy, business case development, value architecture and realization, and business design.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align business strategies with technology solutions and ensure seamless integration.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions to gather requirements, build consensus, and drive decision-making across diverse teams.
• Analyze and document existing business processes, identifying improvement areas and recommending transformational changes.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering growth and enhancing the team's business architecture capabilities.
• Engage with multiple teams to contribute to critical project decisions and solve complex cross-team challenges.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in business architecture, ERP transformation, or enterprise consulting.
• Expert proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in business model strategy, business case development, value architecture and realization, and business design.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills in large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry or large capital expenditure ERP projects is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and executive advisory skills.
