Business Continuity Consultant

Job description / Role

Business Continuity Consultant required by international security solutions provider for their Dubai office.

Key responsibilities shall include:
• Creating and following up on business opportunities with clients
• Producing proposals
• Undertaking development work from Restrata’s offices
• Delivering work at clients’ offices or facilities
• Quality assurance of work, and developing long term client relationships
• Managing the budget for each project
• Reporting
• Supporting broader company-wide objectives
• Reviewing major accident hazard scenarios
• Producing ERPs, IMPs, and Crisis Management Plans
• Conducting Business Impact Assessment
• Producing Business Continuity Plans
• Advising on team organisation, response centre design and technology
• Defining and sourcing the resources (required by plans
• Conducting training needs analysis
• Producing and managing training programmes
• Developing and delivering training courses
• Designing and delivering exercises
• Reviewing existing policy, procedures and plans

Requirements

• Be educated to HND / BSc Level in a relevant discipline
• Formal Training on Crisis Management and Emergency Response
• Formal studies on Marine / Oil and Gas Operations
• Experience of working on International Projects
• 5 – 10 years experience in working in upstream operations
• Be a technically competent and an effective Business Continuity Consultant
• Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of major accident hazards
• Have specialist skills in major emergency management, emergency response, crisis management, media response, relative response, specialist security and business continuity
