Charterhouse has an exciting opportunity to join this leading organisation as Head of BCM and Crisis Management reporting to the General Services Director. You will be responsible for the execution of the business continuity and crisis management strategies and the plans to ensure the organisation remains fully operational during times of crisis or emergency situations.

The incumbent will hold an integral role for the business and will be expected to manage the business continuity policies and strategy for the organisation. This will cover disaster recovery, business continuity and impact analysis as well as market intelligence and international awareness. Overall making sure that critical business functions can be resumed within a defined time frame. You will ensure the organisation maintains its operational capabilities through effective BCM planning and implementation across the business and multiple locations. A strong knowledge of business continuity principles and theories is therefore critical for this role.

Requirements

The candidate will have a bachelor Degree in Business Continuity or Crisis Management and will hold a CBCI and CBCP. You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Business Continuity and Crisis Management with at least five years of direct experience in planning, managing, implementing and embedding the BCM at multiple locations. Outstanding communication and presentation skills is essential, you will have worked with various internal/external Stakeholders to senior level and you will also have a strong commercial awareness. It is essential that you are fluent in English, Arabic is advantageous. Container Terminal or similar industry is preferred.
