Job description / Role

Our Client, a leading global organisation, is looking for a Business Development Analyst to join their team in Dubai. The main purpose of the role is to build meaningful relationships with key decision makers, in order identify and pursue potential business opportunities. You will provide insights to senior management with the provision of analysis and key recommendation, to help evaluate and monitor new business opportunities and to understand and improve existing performance. This role requires robust internal and external relationship-building and influencing skills.

The key responsibilities of the role, are as follows:

• Evaluate new business, partnership and acquisition opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses and making key recommendations to senior management;
• Build, run and maintain financial models and lead all financial analysis to inform business strategic and operational decisions
• Analysis and interpretation of key external and internal data, in order to conduct operational performance benchmarking;
• Investigate financial and operational variances against previous underwrites and other commitments and provide detailed explanations and recommendations for improvement to senior management;
• Lead the financial aspects of business development reporting;
• Work closely with the Managing Directors and Business Development Leads on initiatives, to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals, commercial imperatives and key business targets;
• Participate in regular Business Development meetings, providing high quality MI and KPIs;
• Oversee & support the coordination and review of new business and client presentation materials;
• Develop and maintain ecosystem status reports for Requests for Proposals and Quotations ensuring that timelines are met.
• Ensure financial data is interrogated and accurate.
• Ensure that all business material is both legally and commercially compliant.

In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:

• Four years’ experience in a business development and/or financial analyst/bid specialist role;
• Strong analytical, technical and valuation skills, with a passion for financial modelling;
• Experience in presentation preparation, research and co-ordination of due-diligence;
• Strong network of contacts in the market – evidence of building lasting relationships externally, understanding the business’ complex stakeholder implications;
• Passionate about the details, do what it takes with momentum, resourcefulness, and a positive, go-getter attitude regardless of the tasks at hand;
• Must be able to multi-task, grasp complex concepts, collaborate with subject matter experts and ultimately present solutions effectively in written and visual format;
• Highly proficient on Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint);
• Ability and willingness to travel.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
