Employment: Full Time

Contribution to targets of the company

• Generate sales through new customer acquisition and existing customer retention.
• Increase of brand awareness for Lumas and WhiteWall portfolio for the projects (large scale new construction/hotels mass orders) B2B – smaller clients like restaurants, corporate offices, Artists wanting to produce their own works for exhibition or re-sale.
• Being an ambassador for the portfolio of products.
• Develop and launch the WhiteWall concept in the local market – initially through a concept corner within a Lumas store and ultimately look at a stand-alone location if financially viable.

Main Responsibilities

• Business development/cold call for GCC projects and B2B market
• Maintain current and develop future opportunities
• Source artists who have the potential to be WhiteWall customers
• Compile corporate presentations/sales pitches
• Negotiate with client to close the deal – finalize prices, quantities, delivery and installation terms
• Work with Lumas Germany for the large scale projects
• Liaise with Finance for invoicing, debtors, payment
• Cultivate relationships with future buyers/influencers

Requirements

• Experience with project sales – B2B – large scale and small scale from hotels, corporate, large institutions within GCC, preference given to those with GCC experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience in generating leads and closing the sales.
• Entrepreneurial skills – able to develop a business plan from scratch, launch a product and sell it through to the client.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal in English– corresponding by mail and telephone. Working knowledge of Arabic would be a big plus.
• Able to listen to client needs and integrate this into the sales presentation
• Creative thinker – able to visualize product in a space – have a consultative approach to sales
• Comfortable and experienced in 100% cold calling – not an order taker. This is an active sales role selling product features and benefits not a commodity.
• Approachable, friendly, flexible, very hard working. Can work under own initiative but then link back into the team and the achieve the shared goals.
• Attention to detail, always follows up, has a natural ability to remember names and faces.
• Flexible in the mindset when presenting the different products to the client from high end to mass market and medium limited edition.
• Open-mindedness, pleasant and elegant appearance
• Target-oriented very sales driven, a hands-on attitude
• Can make a plan and make the plan happen – implementation skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Good IT knowledge: MS Office (outlook, power point, excel) art based packages
• Must be able to drive with valid GCC driving license
• Willing to travel if required to other GCC countries
• Flexible as will be required to work longer hours to meet clients
