Business Development Associate

Job description / Role

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for mapping out markets & clients, generating new leads, and providing back-end administrative supporting to Transguard Group's Business Development Team.

You will generate new leads/opportunities from target client lists as well as generate your own lists of target clients based on market research. You will also be responsible for mapping out target client’s key contacts and stakeholders, passing leads to the Business Development Team who will be responsible for making the sales call. You will use LinkedIn & LinkedIn Sales Navigator effectively to send introductory emails as well as provide the team with high-quality back-end administrative support.

Requirements

The essential requirements of this role are:

- Minimum two years in a sales/business development role
- Proven networking experience
- Self-driven
- Minimum English Language Level 5 (by Transguard Group Standards)
- Excellent written and verbal communication

Further desirable skills include:

- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or sales CRM
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn
- Previous experience in high pressure target driven sale environments
