PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

• Business Development Associate supports efforts to identify and execute on strategic growth opportunities.
• Develop ROI-based business models to evaluate opportunities.
• Gather business intelligence and perform competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities. Helps market effectively and measure success of the operational and strategic plan for both Software and Cloud environments cross- industry and customer segment

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Area 1:
• Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and manage project engagements.
• Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with management to execute on the relationships.
• Incorporate our competitive advantage including the key reasons customers and prospects would leverage cloud deployment models and other innovative technologies to achieve strategic business objectives.

Area 2:
• Analyze and evaluate complex business transactions to ensure that all relevant aspects are identified.
• Perform due diligence on projections and historic data in vetting the assumptions associated with new opportunities.

Area 3:
• Stay abreast of legal requirements to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Coordinate due diligence within origination and across other teams.
• Coordinate and receive all necessary internal approvals (legal, accounting, tax, credit, etc.).
• Support efforts to building business development capabilities and organization
• Help implement scalable revenue programs
• Work effectively in a team environment and generate high impact results

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2-5 years of business development experience in enterprise software sales preferred

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university
• MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred
• Fluency in the language of local markets required
• Conversational fluency in English a plus, any other language an asset
