Job description / Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development Director will be primarily responsible for:
• Growing business revenue by generating orders from leading fashion retailers worldwide
• Developing a network of buyers across the target retail businesses
• Maximising the potential of existing clients
• Managing the team in the Dubai office as well as the team in South East Asia consisting of designers, merchandisers and quality control.
Requirements
• Must have experience in a ready-made garments manufacturer ideally specialized in Woven, Knit and Sweater.
• Must have connections with buyers/ buying directors within reputable value fashion retailers and high-street retailers world-wide
• Must have a strong track record in winning retail/fashion businesses whilst working in a retail garment manufacturer
• Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be comfortable with frequent travel particularly to South-East Asia
