Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Developing contacts in the strategically selected markets to find potential users for our applications.
- Prospecting of those potential clients and identifying their requirement for our products .
- Managing the sales process from the initial contact to the actual sale. This includes identifying technical needs, strong collaboration with customer's technical teams, and negotiation / closing of offers.
- Help define the market segments, customer base, and industry verticals we can target.
- Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
- Identify specific prospects/partners to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case.
- Fill the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers.
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls, emails and site visits.
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Gathering market and customer information about the product and solution.
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
- Liaising with the technical team and the prospect customers for a technical discussion.
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the development teams to guide the direction of our products offerings for developers.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Business / Marketing or any related filed
- High sense of customer relationship.
- Technical knowledge or background of IT and software industry, in order to identify how the software can benefit the customer.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Knowledge and experience of UAE government procurement and tendering process
- Self-motivated, energetic personality.
- Strong sense of team collaboration.
- Ideally possess a degree in a related technical field
- 3 to 7 years’ experience in Software Business Development / Sales in UAE or GCC
- knowledge of current software development technologies, database engines and IT business analysis is preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate and hospitality business process is preferred
- ERP sales experience is preferred especially (MS dynamics, Oracle, SAP)
